Carrot Cake Oats
Carrot Cake Oatmeal
While this recipe does add some extra veggies to your breakfast, it's also just straight up delicious!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rolled oats
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Apple chopped
- 2 Baby carrots shredded
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tbsp Ground flaxseed If you only have whole flaxseeds, you can grind it yourself in a coffee grinder
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients minus the apple and carrots to a small-medium pot and bring to medium heat
- After 2-3 minutes, add in the apple and carrots, cooking until all of the water is absorbed and the oats are at your desired consistency (if you prefer your oats a big thinner, feel free to add a bit more water or milk)
- Adjust seasonings as needed and pour oatmeal into a bowl
- Enjoy!
