Ingredients
1/2cupRolled oats
1cupWater
1Applechopped
2Baby carrotsshredded
1pinchSalt
1/2tspCinnamon
1/2tspPumpkin pie spice
1/2tbspGround flaxseedIf you only have whole flaxseeds, you can grind it yourself in a coffee grinder
Instructions
Add all the ingredients minus the apple and carrots to a small-medium pot and bring to medium heat
After 2-3 minutes, add in the apple and carrots, cooking until all of the water is absorbed and the oats are at your desired consistency (if you prefer your oats a big thinner, feel free to add a bit more water or milk)
Adjust seasonings as needed and pour oatmeal into a bowl
